THE REGISTRY
Every dimension is a seed. Some of them are yours.
the engine rolls a 3D dimension from 256 bits and puts it on your desktop. roll one with a ticket from here and it can be claimed. a claimed seed sits in your vault with a value, can be listed, can be acquired. copying the file does nothing. this page is the only thing that moves ownership.
set it up, four steps
- 01
install the app and sign in
sign in here, open
sign in for the app →/login?app=1, paste the token on the app's account tab. an account is required; one claimable roll a week. - 02
roll
the app's setup tab: one key. commit, ticket and seed in one go.
- 03
keep, then claim
keep writes the .chaos file to the folder you chose; claim has the registry sign it. it then shows up in your vault with a value.
- 04
put it on the desktop
kde: "set as desktop wallpaper" in the app. the wallpaper's own settings page holds draw, size and fps.
how a roll cannot be rigged
01 you commit
the app draws 32 random bytes and sends only their hash. chaos --commit out.reveal
02 the registry adds its own
the ticket you get back is signed and carries your commit plus 32 bytes the registry drew after seeing only the hash.
03 the seed is both
seed = hash(ticket id, registry random, your random). you cannot change yours after seeing theirs. they cannot pick theirs for an outcome.
04 the registry derives rarity
on claim it recomputes everything from the seed and signs a certificate. the file you hold is evidence. the row here is the truth.

of every claimable roll. one a week per account, and an account is required to roll at all. previews are free, unlimited, and worth nothing.
what each piece does
| the app | renders, rolls, holds your files. ships only the registry's public key. |
| the registry | keeps the books: owner, value, which copy is current. holds the only private key. derives everything itself. |
| the .chaos file | 512 bytes: the seed, the ticket, the certificate. a receipt, never the truth. |
